I'll guide you through your portraits so you never have to wonder where to stand, what to do with your hands, or what happens next. I'll give you enough direction to feel confident, but I won't turn your entire day into one long series of poses.
I'll create opportunities for you to interact, move, laugh, slow down, and just be together—and then I'll watch for the moments that happen naturally.
Because the goal isn't for you to look like professional models.
The goal is for you to feel like yourselves and actually love the way you look in your photographs.

For those who are newly engaged, congratulations!! Engagement sessions are such an important part of the experience because they give you the chance to get comfortable in front of my camera and get to know what it feels like to work with me. They also give me the opportunity to learn how you and your fiancé naturally interact and photograph together before your wedding day.
Whether we’re photographing during golden hour on the edge of a hillside or creating your own Notebook like story during a rainy day session at the beach, we’re here to have an adventure together! Each session I tell my clients to plan for a date night because that's exactly how these moments should feel when I'm photographing you. Bringing you closer and reminding you of your "why".
