Snohomish Washington Wedding Photographer

I'm Cassi

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was obsessed with film and took photos of my dog every chance I got. I also dressed her up for photos, because apparently I was running a very serious editorial studio at age ten.

Then life took me in a completely different direction. I spent 13 years working in veterinary medicine, eventually stepping away to pursue photography full-time. At the time, I didn’t realize how much that career would actually prepare me for this one.

Working in vet med taught me how to think quickly, read a room, stay calm when things get chaotic, and always have a backup plan (and a backup for the backup). Turns out, those skills come in pretty damn handy when you're photographing a wedding.

For years, I was also a brand ambassador for several pet companies, photographing products, animals, and my own dogs along the way. During the pandemic, my photography really took off as I started photographing more people, too.

Eventually, my dogs decided they were pretty over being models (ha!).

So I took the hint and shifted my focus to people—especially couples who are in one of the most exciting seasons of their lives.

Now I get to photograph engagements, weddings, and all the messy, emotional, ridiculously happy moments that come with them.

I think veterinary medicine prepared me for this more than I ever could have imagined.

I know how to notice the little things. I know when to step in and when to hang back. I know how to stay calm when plans change. And most importantly, I know how to make people feel comfortable when they're not entirely sure what they're supposed to be doing.

So yeah, I’m a photographer now. But a little bit of that vet tech is still coming with me.

My Approach

I capture couples and people in their true element. People really look so beautiful when they’re having a good time! After my own wedding, I wanted to create an experience that feels easy, guided, and fun.
I love planning and turning photos into an adventure instead of something people may dread.
Whether it’s your wedding day, a couples session, brand session or moments with your little ones, I’m here to capture it all, and maybe encourage a snack or your favorite drink along the way.
